Leo Fitz Week » Day Three: Favourite Relationship
So basically, a multifandom blog.
(and maybe not in that order)
phrases like “i’ll be the distraction you go on ahead without me” generally do not have a tendency to end well
"i’ll catch up with you" no. no you probably won’t
"we’ll talk about this later" there is no later
"it’ll be alright" not for you since you just said that and doomed yourself
if you leave your dog in a hot car this summer i will break your window and steal your dog and become the puppy master of all the dogs that i rescue
au: in which Derek is pretty calm about the deadpool list and Stiles is freaking out enough for the both of them.
what the fuck even is death note. i know there’s a guy named light and one named l (who named these children) and one of them looks like a spindly frog with emo hair, and of course there’s a notebook that gives people heart attacks, but then sometimes i see art of it and there’s this terrifying clown monster just sort of floating around in the background?? why is this juggalo here what does he want from the frog.
the only ship i need is a scholarship can i get a hallelujah
every deleted scene from the thor movies is a treasure and should never have ended up on the cutting room floor
why aren’t we talking about this more.
Taylor Swift being interviewed by Rolling Stones in New York City on July 24, 2014
i’m done with teenage boys // i keep an open mind (insp)
percy “i should have been scared, but instead i was just kinda offended” jackson
my sexuality is girls all the time and boys if they’re famous, almost offensively beautiful and completely unattainable so i can attach all my impossible ideals to them and never have to have anything to do with them irl
This scene still breaks my heart each and every single time I watch it.
Azula was a terrible, horrible person. She would have set the world aflame and laughed over the broken carcass of her brother.
But she was fourteen.
She was so ruined and twisted by her childhood and by her nation, driven to insanity by the expectations placed upon her.
Azula was bad and yet I can’t help but feel so terribly sorry for her.
"I don’t have sob stories like all of you."
SHE WAS FUCKING FOURTEEN WHAT
"My own mother….thought I was a monster.
She was right, of course, but it still hurt.”
actually, i think one of the shows strengths is that they didn’t shy away from what a horrible tragedy this was. even though she was clearly a villain and did unspeakably awful things, this scene was still framed as sad. there was no celebrating- they just look at her sadly.
the music for the battle that leads up to this moment is sad too- it’s an epic battle, visually probably one of the biggest things done in the entire series, and they could have played it with thumping, energetic, dangerous music. but instead it’s quiet and somber. because the whole scenario is heartbreaking, and they know it.
i think the fact that a kid’s show had so much respect for it’s viewers and their ability to understand the complexity of this situation is what makes avatar great.
